WPN Regions
WPN established the Regional Chair structure in 2007 to strengthen connections among members across the state and provide additional support to the organization’s leadership. Regional Chairs collaborate with the WPN Chair to support membership recruitment and retention, mentoring, advocacy, and block booking/routing. The original Regional Chair structure included five territories, with leaders representing different areas of the state. The inaugural Regional Chairs were John Hassig of UW–Platteville (Southwest), Leslie LaMuro of UW–Whitewater, (Southeast), Joe Ferlo of the Grand Opera House in Oshkosh (Lake Winnebago/Michigan), Deborah Janz of the Lucille Tack Center in Spencer (Central Wisconsin/Upper Mississippi), and Merry Little of the Performing Arts Foundation in Wausau (Northern Wisconsin).
Regional Chairs also coordinate activity within their regions and serve as a resource and point of contact for members.
Since 2017, WPN has been organized into four regions, each represented by a Regional Chair.
